Job Description

Leidos is seeking highly qualified professionals to support the TSA FOCUS Program.

We are especially interested in connecting with current incumbent personnel supporting this mission who are interested in continuing their work and bringing their valuable mission knowledge and experience to Leidos.

The Project Management role provides project planning, coordination, execution, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder management across assigned FOCUS service areas. The position coordinates activities, resources, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, deliverables, and customer communications to support on-time, controlled, and minimally disruptive delivery.

​The Project Manager maintains accurate project records and ensures assigned initiatives remain aligned with service-level, security, quality, customer-service, and operational objectives.

Essential Duties Could Include the following:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage assigned IT projects and initiatives.
  • ​Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and action items.
  • ​Coordinate project activities with TSA, Leidos, service owners, technical teams, and partner stakeholders.
  • ​Track project scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues, costs, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • ​Maintain accurate project documentation and status information in approved systems of record.
  • ​Coordinate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • ​Identify project risks and issues and coordinate mitigation and resolution activities.
  • ​Monitor project performance and communicate status, risks, dependencies, and decisions to appropriate stakeholders.
  • ​Coordinate resources and activities across Service Desk, Desktop Support, Asset Management, ServiceNow, WebEOC, infrastructure, and other service teams as applicable.
  • ​Support IMAC, deployment, technology refresh, transition, implementation, and other IT initiatives as assigned.
  • ​Ensure project activities comply with approved TSA processes, procedures, and controls.
  • ​Support operational readiness, transition, knowledge transfer, acceptance, and post-implementation activities.
  • ​Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications Could Include

Requirements will vary depending on the specific position and level. Qualifications may include:

  • Bachelors degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience my be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TSA Suitability
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security Clearance
  • ​Relevant experience supporting project management functions in an enterprise or federal IT environment.
  • ​Strong project coordination, communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • ​Experience managing schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and deliverables.
  • ​Ability to coordinate effectively across technical, operational, government, and contractor stakeholders.
  • ​Ability to maintain accurate project records and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ​TSA, DHS, or other federal IT program experience.
  • ​PMP or comparable project management certification.
  • ​Experience with IT infrastructure, end-user computing, ITSM, or enterprise IT projects.
  • ​Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • ​Experience supporting geographically distributed projects and operational environments.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
