To strengthen our growing organisation, VSTEP is looking for a Project Manager.
In this role you will bring structure, clarity, and excellence across our operations, while actively delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

This critical, client-facing role involves coordinating the delivery of both hardware and software components, aligning our internal technical teams, and ensuring a seamless experience for the client side.

  • Reporting project progress, risks, and budget performance to management
  • Ensuring proper documentation and delivering professional reports and presentations
  • Coordinating the full project lifecycle: requirements, concept design, procurement, delivery and commissioning
  • Aligning simulation engineering, development, commercial, and operational teams to meet all project deliverables
  • Comfortably managing multiple concurrent deliveries simultaneously and able to work effectively under pressure

Is this you?

You have:

  • 5 – 7 years of core project management experience in a technical delivery or systems integration environment
  • A valid Dutch working permit
  • Experience managing projects with both hardware and software components
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent stakeholder management abilities
  • A structured and organized approach to work, with attention to detail
  • Conflict resolution abilities and a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • A drive to implement continuous improvement and exceeding targets
  • A Prince2 Agile Practitioner certification (preferred)

You are:

  • Someone who brings order, clarity and structure to dynamic project environments
  • Available 40 hours a week
  • Located in the Netherlands
  • In possession of a Dutch driving license (category B)

This is what you want in a job!

  • A flexible, international, and hybrid working environment based in Rotterdam
  • Opportunity to lead diverse, international projects that leave room for innovation and thoughtful detail
  • Collaboration with an experienced team, building software for world-class simulators
  • Freedom to set your working hours between 07:00 and 19:00
  • 25 annual holidays/ 200 holiday hours based on a 40-hour contract
  • Unlimited access to GoodHabitz, our online learning platform
  • Keti-Koti on the first of July, as an extra holiday
  • The possibility to arrange partial remote work
