Project Machinist Operator
Set up andoperatemachines and tools to perform any operation within machine capacity with special fixtures or holding devices ifrequired
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Comply withall ofTurboFab’sEnvironmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and Guidelines.
Must keep all areas clean andorderly;andcomply withTurboFab’s housekeeping procedures.
Mustmaintaina safe working environment.
Mustmeet production requirements.
Machine componentsrequiretolerance and meet quality standards.
Must apply continuous improvement techniques.
Insureequipment is functioning properly.
Keep andmaintainrecords and documents asrequired
Train less experienced machinists asrequired
Required Qualifications:
This position is fora fully competent and qualifiedMachinist and Machine Operators
Must have at least 1 yearof experience as a machinist or machineoperatorandrequiresminimalsupervision to perform the job.
Knowledge of setting up and running theproductionmachining equipment.
Capable ofreading and interpreting drawings.
Understanding and skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment and gauges to inspectmachinedparts
Must haveskills, knowledge in operating manual and CNC machining equipment
Able to work 1st shift as assigned
Mustexhibitthe skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner.
Good communicationskillsbothverbal and written.
Top Candidates:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3or moreyears of experience as a machinist or machine operator
Basic computer skillspreferred
Skillsofsetting up and running the production machining equipment.
Ability to write,changeand update programs.
Skills and knowledge in operating Horizontal Boring Machine as well asKurakiCNC Machines.
Competency to read/write G code as well asFeatureCAM

Pay Range:
$25.48 - $38.22
