We are looking for a Project Leader Systems Electronics Integration to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO). You will report hierarchically to the Chief Technical Engineer (CTE).

The Project Leader Systems - Electronics Integration plans and manages the activities of the Product line that are required for his/her task area throughout the entire product life cycle. He/She is responsible for meeting all specified targets related to design, engineering, deadlines, costs and quality for the project within the system scope of electronics integration.

For the following activities you will be:

  • Responsible for supporting the CTE in the definition of technical and product requirements within his/her technical area and respective achievement
  • Accountable for EP (SW Release, Integration, Safety Whole vehicle) work products, responsible for fostering analysis and facilitating decision making and escalating concerns/criticism and job stoppers to Product Line and functions.
  • Accountable for reaching targets on direct costs, investments and supplier development costs within his/her technical area, supported by Finance
  • Responsible for tracking and managing overall electronic tests within EP scope and release plan
  • Accountable for Functional Safety and Cyber Security concept definition and development plan
  • Accountable for function list definition and functions requirement within project scope
  • Accountable for version and configuration management within EP scope
  • Accountable for architecture definition within project scope
  • Accountable for failure management within EP scope
  • Accountable for SW Release and OBD Development within EP scope
  • Accountable for electronic benches and facilities readiness, GHIL and HILs within EP scope
  • Responsible for ensuring availability and readiness of vehicles needed for EP activities within the project and escalation if these needs are not matched
  • Accountable for target deviation decisions within his/her delegation of authority, escalating to Product Line in case of conflicts or deviations outside his/her delegation of authority, preparing underlying analyses for decision
  • Accountable for managing budget within his/her threshold
  • Support definition of financial targets together with CTE/ Functional Project Leaders & Finance Project Leaders
  • Responsible to manage and track the Project Milestone Deliverables criteria of his functional area in the Project Milestone Deliverables process

About you

  • Engineering Degree
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Automotive in the field of electronics integration
  • Knowledge and experience in automotive field Functional Safety and Cyber Security electronics integration and validation
  • Experience in project management
  • Development and Production Processes Knowledge
  • Fully proficient in English, German as a plus
  • Leadership skills
  • Time and cost management
  • Good standing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Ability to manage complexity
