Job Description

The Project Leader is responsible for leading complex, cross‑functional projects and ensuring proper convergence between performance, cost, and timing objectives. This role acts as the central point of coordination and communication across multidisciplinary teams, driving project execution from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate complex projects following the VIGOR Product Development process.
  • Present project status and progress updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage and control project budgets, including cost tracking and financial projections.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and product performance objectives.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks; coordinate and execute contingency plans.
  • Lead escalation processes, convergence activities, and negotiation discussions.
  • Align cross‑functional teams to ensure delivery of project objectives related to performance, cost, and timing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project leadership or product development roles.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in New Product Development (NPD) processes with proven delivery of multiple projects.
  • Project planning and time management across multiple projects and teams.
  • Solid technical understanding of products and technologies, with the ability to influence technical direction.
  • Stakeholder communication and management at an advanced and executive level.
  • Budget and cost management experience.
  • Risk management and contingency planning.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK or formal project management methodologies preferred.
