We are looking for a responsible project manager in the international project management field.

The ideal candidate will manage extensive large-scale projects in the field of battery production plants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Manager role in the field of international project management.
  • Management of complex, large-scale projects in the field of battery production plants.
  • Planning and coordinating project-related activities, monitoring project timelines, costs, and quality; tracking project progress, identifying potential critical issues, and proposing corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with the engineering/technical department, production, and purchasing to ensure compliance with technical specifications and deadlines; supporting the definition of project budgets and monitoring their financial performance.
  • Coordinating all internal departments and external suppliers, from the preliminary phase (pre-sales/ engineering) to final acceptance and delivery to the customer.
  • Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of activities.
  • Managing project progress meetings and drafting the relevant technical documentation and reporting.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Solid knowledge in business management and management control.
  • Confident handling of common IT tools and SAP.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).
  • Several years of experience in managing complex projects within globally operating metalworking/engineering companies.
  • Previous experience in the battery production sector (battery industry) is highly preferred.

  • Experience in changing management and working in matrixed environments.
  • Ability to structure projects, processes, and ways of working that support strategic execution and implemented change.
  • Ability to work in a team and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good ability to manage priorities and resources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, flexibility, determination, assertiveness, and a high degree of operational autonomy.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German is considered a plus.

SALARY RANGE

€40,000–€60,000 gross per year
