As a Project Leader, you’ll support the Project Management Office (PMO) by leading strategic projects and value stream improvement initiatives across the Commercial Engine Services division. In this role, you will manage projects from launch through completion while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of project objectives.
What you’ll do:
Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables using project management tools
Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project execution and accountability
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project success
Support value stream improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects within the CES division
Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ensure project documentation, reporting, and tracking are maintained accurately and consistently
Collaborate with the PMO team to support the development and improvement of project management structures and processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support organizational goals through effective project execution
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3+ years of project management experience leading projects from launch through completion
Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
Experience using Smartsheet or Microsoft Project for project planning and tracking
Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, construction, aerospace, or aviation environments
Desired Skills
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
Aviation or aerospace industry experience considered an asset
Experience supporting PMO development or project management structure implementation
Experience supporting value stream improvement or operational excellence initiatives
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
