You will lead a landmark national project to Close the Gap in diabetes for Indigenous communities.
You will collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners to drive meaningful health,policyand research outcomes.
Whatyou willdeliver:
Lead day-to-day management of the Close the Gap in Diabetes project, achieving agreed milestones and outcomes.
Design and deliver the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Diabetes Summit with key partners and stakeholders.
Prepare governance,ethicsand collaboration documentation, ensuring compliance and effective project risk and quality management.
Coordinate research activities, dataanalysisand publication of findings,disseminatingevidence through reports,presentationsand forums.
Build andmaintainculturally safe partnerships with Aboriginalorganisations,communitiesand service providers across Australia.
You may be a great fit if you:
Hold a doctoral-level qualification or equivalent experience in public health, healthsystemsor related health discipline.
Demonstrate advanced project planning andorganisationalskills across complex research or health service environments.
Bring strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management experience with communities,servicesand multidisciplinary teams.
Apply high-level analytical and research skills, including data management,evaluationand innovative problem solving.
Communicate clearly through excellent written reports,presentationsand culturally informed consultation with diverse audiences.
Work effectively in distributed teams, balancing independent judgement with collaborative decision-making and guidanceseeking
