About the Role

We are looking for a Project Lead who is fluent in Spanish and English to support the day-to-day management and growth of an AI video data collection project.

Spanish fluency is a key requirement for this role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with Spanish-speaking contributors and applicants in both written and spoken Spanish, while also being able to coordinate effectively with the internal team in English.

You will help manage project operations, recruit and onboard contributors, keep participants engaged and active, and ensure project activities are completed efficiently and according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Monitor project progress, contributor activity, and overall participation.
• Maintain project trackers, records, and performance updates.
• Identify operational issues and coordinate solutions with the appropriate team members.
• Communicate project updates, requirements, and changes clearly to contributors.
• Help ensure project goals, timelines, and quality requirements are met.
• Prepare regular project updates and reports for the internal team.
• Coordinate across internal teams and contributors to keep project activities moving smoothly.

Contributor Recruitment

• Support the ongoing recruitment of new contributors for the project.
• Identify and utilize relevant recruitment channels, social media groups, online communities, job boards, and participant platforms.
• Recruit and communicate with Spanish-speaking contributors through relevant Spanish-language communities.
• Screen potential contributors based on project requirements.
• Communicate with applicants throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
• Follow up with applicants who have not completed required onboarding steps.
• Help maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified contributors.

Contributor Engagement & Support

• Serve as a primary point of contact for contributors throughout the project.
• Keep contributors informed, motivated, and engaged.
• Respond to contributor questions and provide clear guidance regarding project requirements.
• Monitor contributor participation and follow up with inactive or unresponsive contributors.
• Help contributors resolve common onboarding, recording, and submission issues.
• Encourage contributors to remain active and complete available tasks.
• Build positive working relationships with contributors and help create a smooth contributor experience.

Spanish-Language Communication

Spanish communication is a core part of this role.

• Communicate directly with Spanish-speaking applicants and contributors in Spanish.
• Provide project instructions, updates, reminders, and announcements in Spanish when needed.
• Translate or explain project requirements between English and Spanish.
• Ensure Spanish-speaking contributors clearly understand project instructions, recording requirements, deadlines, and submission processes.
• Answer contributor questions and provide support in Spanish.
• Support recruitment and engagement efforts within Spanish-speaking communities.
• Help identify communication or onboarding issues that may affect Spanish-speaking contributors.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong confidence communicating with Spanish-speaking contributors and applicants.
• Previous experience in project management, project coordination, operations, or a similar role.
• Experience with recruitment, community management, contributor engagement, or participant coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to monitor project progress and maintain accurate records.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, project management tools, communication platforms, and online recruitment channels.
• Reliable, proactive, responsive, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AI, data collection, research studies, crowdsourcing, or similar projects.
• Experience managing remote contributors or distributed teams.
• Experience recruiting through social media, online communities, job boards, or participant platforms.
• Experience working with US-based contributors.
• Experience working with Spanish-speaking markets or Latin American communities.
• Experience managing contributors or participants in both English- and Spanish-speaking environments.

This is a remote, project-based position. Work hours and project availability may vary based on operational needs.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of day-to-day project coordination, build strong relationships with contributors, support recruitment efforts, and keep the project moving efficiently.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, organized, proactive, people-oriented, and comfortable managing contributors across different communication channels.

They should be confident communicating in Spanish with applicants and contributors, while also being able to coordinate project activities and provide updates to the internal team in English.
