OWNER’S REPRESENTATION

A key component of our Global Planning division is Legends Owner’s Representation. Since its establishment in 2014, Legends Owner’s Representation has grown to be one of the leading firms performing project management services for major sports and entertainment venues, convention centers, museums, aquariums, casinos, and other similar public facility types. In addition, the firm also has several active projects in the entertainment and commercial markets.

THE ROLE

Legends is currently seeking to fill a position as Project Intern. The Project Intern will report to the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Director, and will be responsible for assisting in implementing the day-to-day on-site (or office, depending on the project/location) activities from design through turnover and closeout of the project. The Project Intern will observe and support the Legends team.. We are looking for individuals interested in a career with Legends that begins as an internship and develops into a full time position (pending needs and availability)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with monitoring of the design team and construction team as required to support the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager.
  • Assist with monitoring adherence to the agreed project schedule.
  • Assist with the onsite day to day review of work in the field.
  • Assist with reporting on quality of the work and problem solving
  • Assist with managing the testing and inspections.
  • Assist in maintaining current project files and document control.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and other reporting tools.
  • Assist with the turnover of the project to the client, and closeout of all assigned project contracts, accounts, and documentation
  • Attend necessary meetings and, if necessary, keep minutes/notes of meetings for record purposes
  • Assist with invoice reviews and payment application process
  • Assist with monitoring the RFI and Submittal Process

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, quickly establishing credibility with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with technology including Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), Procore, Scheduling software and other typical construction management applications. Please highlight any other programs/applications that you have proficiency in.
  • Ability to multi-task, and produce all deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Applicant must have the ability to work effectively in fast-paced jobsite environments.
  • Must be flexible to work non-traditional hours due to the accelerated nature of the projects and available to travel.
