Job Description

Interface Management & Coordination

* Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Interface Management Plan (IMP).

* Identify, define, and manage all project interfaces (technical, organizational, and physical).

* Establish and maintain an Interface Register to track interface points, responsibilities, and status.

* Ensure proper allocation of interface ownership between EPC contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

* Act as the focal point between ADNOC, PMC team, EPC contractors, licensors, and third parties.

* Facilitate coordination between multiple contractors working on interdependent scopes.

* Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders as required.

Engineering & Technical Interfaces

* Ensure alignment and integration across all engineering disciplines.

* Coordinate resolution of technical conflicts and discrepancies between contractors.

* Review and monitor interface deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and data exchanges.

Project Execution & Construction Interfaces

* Coordinate site interfaces between contractors during construction and installation phases.

* Monitor physical interface points to ensure constructability and sequence alignment.

* Support resolution of site clashes and interface-related issues.

Schedule & Risk Management

* Integrate interface requirements into the overall project schedule.

* Identify interface-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.

* Monitor and report on interface performance, delays, and bottlenecks.

Change Management

* Evaluate and manage the impact of design and scope changes on interfaces.

* Ensure all changes are communicated effectively across stakeholders.

* Maintain traceability of interface changes and approvals.

Documentation & Reporting

* Maintain interface documentation, logs, and communication records.

* Prepare regular interface status reports for project management and ADNOC stakeholders.

* Track KPIs related to interface performance and issue resolution.

Meetings & Governance

* Lead and facilitate regular interface coordination meetings and workshops.

* Ensure timely closure of interface actions and escalation of critical issues.

* Support project governance and decision-making processes.

HSE & Quality Compliance

* Ensure all interface activities comply with ADNOC HSE standards and project QA/QC requirements.

* Promote a strong safety culture across all interfacing parties.

Technical Competencies

* Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle (FEED, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning).

* Familiarity with interface management tools and systems.

* Knowledge of ADNOC standards, procedures, and project execution requirements.

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Soft Skills

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

* High level of coordination and organizational capability.

* Ability to work under pressure in a multi-cultural environment.

Certifications (Preferred)

* PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.

* Interface Management certifications (if available).

* HSE certifications relevant to ADNOC projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Timely resolution of interface issues.

* Reduction in interface-related delays and rework.

* Effective coordination across stakeholders.

* Compliance with project schedule and milestones.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline).

* Master’s Degree is an advantage.

Experience

* Minimum 20+ years of experience in oil & gas projects.

* At least 5–7 years in Interface Management roles within large EPC/EPCM or PMC projects.

* Proven experience on ADNOC or similar Middle East mega projects.

* Experience managing interfaces across multiple contractors and disciplines.
