As GemLife continues to grow, our Commercial Development Team are requiring a Project Information Manager (Document Control) to improve the efficiency of delivering documents and keeping things on track as our project pipeline grows!

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a new role and work alongside the Senior Project Manager and take ownership of project information workflows, supporting approvals and efficient information delivery between consultants, contractors and internal teams.

This role is critical to ensuring consistent, accurate and timely information flow across multiple concurrent projects, supporting risk management, compliance, and efficient project delivery as GemLife’s development pipeline expands.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Information Manager:

• Establish and maintain project document registers and filing systems within Procore and Plexa.
• Manage document workflows for design submissions, reviews, approvals and certifications.
• Maintain strict version control and distribution of current documentation to project teams.
• Coordinate document flow between consultants, subcontractors, site teams and head office.
• Support site teams with as-built documentation and O&M manuals for operational handover to resort operations.
• Ensure project records are properly archived, governed and audit-ready.

To be successful you must:

• Have previous experience as a Document Controller ideally within the construction industry
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume project environment
• Be an organised individual who's detail orientated
• Have strong communication skills with a variety of stakeholders.
• Demonstrate the confidence to manage document processes and independently and guide others in best practice.

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects
• Exposure to leading or mentoring junior document controllers
• Interest in developing standardised systems and processes
