Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management for large-scale solar energy projects, including planning, design, execution, and commissioning.
• Conduct thorough analysis of land, solar radiation, grid connection infrastructure, and emerging technologies to optimize project design and execution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project designs account for geographical location, climate conditions, temperature impacts, and maintenance requirements.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential challenges in capital investment projects.
• Drive cost-efficiency in project execution by leveraging advanced technologies and innovative methodologies.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and government agencies.
• Monitor and report project progress, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational benchmarks.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record of 20+ years in managing large-scale solar energy projects, with expertise in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) execution.
• Extensive experience in renewable energy project management, including site analysis, design optimization, and risk mitigation.
• Strong leadership skills with a history of successfully managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder landscapes.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Project Management, Renewable Energy, or Business Administration is preferred.

Years & Type of Experience

• Minimum 20 years of experience in solar energy project management, with a focus on large-scale EPC projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing projects in diverse geographical and climatic conditions.

Domain Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of solar energy technologies, including photovoltaic systems and grid integration.
• Expertise in land analysis, solar radiation assessment, and infrastructure planning for renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with risk management strategies and cost optimization techniques in capital-intensive projects.

Digital & Operational Tools

• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with solar energy simulation tools like PVsyst and Helioscope.
• Experience with ERP systems for resource planning and financial management.
