Job Description

By joining the Project Execution Structuring team, you will be an engineer that transforms customer requirements into the Bill of Materials (BOM) for Gas Turbines. You will be at the intersection of engineering, systems, quality, and process improvement, while contributing to the successful execution of real customer projects.

BOM creation and maintenance

  • Creates and maintains Bills of Material (BOMs) for GE Vernova products under supervision. Executes standard BOM creation processes following established procedures and quality standards. Focuses on learning product knowledge and developing technical proficiency in PLM/ERP systems.
  • Create single and multi-level BOMs for standard products following documented procedures
  • Input and validate part data in PLM/ERP systems with accuracy
  • Execute BOM modifications based on approved engineering change orders
  • Perform quality self-checks using established check tools before submission

Documentation & Data Quality

  • Verify part master data completeness and accuracy
  • Flag data quality issues to senior team members
  • Maintain accurate work logs and status tracking
  • Document standard work procedures as learned

Learning & Development

  • Complete assigned training curriculum on schedule
  • Shadow senior analysts to learn complex processes
  • Participating in product knowledge sessions
  • Build proficiency in PLM/ERP systems
  • Develop understanding of product architectures

Collaboration & Communication

  • Attend weekly stand-ups and team meetings
  • Communicate status and issues to mentor/supervisor
  • Ask clarifying questions when requirements are unclear
  • Participating in team improvement activities
  • Build relationships with engineering contacts

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Basic understanding of the New Unit Release process from ITO to COD process milestones.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
