Reports to: Project Director / CFO
The Financial Project Manager oversees the financial performance of railway infrastructure projects, ensuring effective budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cash flow management, financial reporting, compliance, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost control, and financial KPIs.
Prepare forecasts, completion estimates, variance analyses, and profitability reports.
Oversee billing, invoicing, accruals, cost allocations, and intercompany transactions.
Monitor project costs, identify financial risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
Deliver accurate monthly financial reports and support month-end and year-end close.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, accounting standards, and company policies.
Forecast cash collections and monitor client payments.
Manage financial matters related to consortium and joint venture partners.
Support Project Directors and Contract Managers in evaluating commercial risks, claims, change orders, and contract amendments.
Provide financial guidance to project teams and support informed decision-making.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of finance experience in railway, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or industrial projects.
Strong expertise in project finance, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/financial systems.
Experience in large-scale projects and joint venture environments.
