Job Description

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Financial Administrator to join our Finance team based in Singapore and to support project teams through finance administration activities, including project setup, billing support, and ongoing financial data maintenance. The role works closely with Project Accountants and the Finance team to support smooth and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project invoices for billing, credit notes, financial adjustments, and refunds in a timely and accurate manner

  • Proactively monitor, follow up on, and recover overdue payments while maintaining positive client relationships

  • Close projects within the system by ensuring all financial and administrative matters of the projects are fully reconciled and billed

  • Support the setup of new projects in financial systems, ensuring all details are accurate and aligned with approved contracts

  • Maintain accurate project financial data, ensuring integrity and audit readiness

  • Process and allocate client payments, including foreign currency transactions and withholding tax considerations, ensuring accurate reconciliation of project accounts

  • Manage the creation and ongoing maintenance of customer master data

  • Liaise with Project Accountants and relevant stakeholders as required

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Basic understanding of finance and project administration (of project-based financial management)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage financial data accurately across multiple projects

  • Comfortable working with systems, data, and Excel - Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel

  • Commercial awareness with an interest in project lifecycle, billing, and revenue management

  • Willingness to learn and develop within a project finance environment - Eagerness to learn and grow within a project finance environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
