Job summary

Responsible for cash flow modelling, Project Economic analysis, proposal preparation, due diligence and marketing presentations in support of the Energy & Infrastructure Group (“EIG”)/ PF team. Prepare and manage internal reporting and systems.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of borrowers / projects, and their main cash flow drivers.
  • Develop and run cash flow analysis for borrowers under the EIG team’s remit, including PF, Corporate Infrastructure, Core Plus Infrastructure, etc. Analyse and prepare project economics reports for inclusion in credit submissions.
  • Assist deal Directors in preparing marketing documents, research and industry papers.
  • Review and contribute to the due diligence process, and confirm the model accurately reflects the due diligence.
  • Draft credit papers in conjunction with the deal Director and assist in the documentation process.
  • Assist with portfolio administration, and preparation of internal reports.
  • Assist with KYC processes.
  • Processing Confidentiality Agreements.

Main duties:

  • Development and review of cash flow models;
  • Preparation of project economics reports for inclusion in credit submissions.
  • Prepare and analyse appropriate project sensitivities.
  • Assist with due diligence and project execution.
  • Review project documentation in conjunction with the deal Director.
  • Prepare pitch books in conjunction with Directors; complete KYC;
  • Equator principals, credit ratings and enter transactions into internal systems.
  • Prepare internal reports as required.

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent


Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor or Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field


Level of minimal experience

0-2 years


Experience

12 months experience in corporate finance, investment banking or similar area in a financial institution or chartered accountancy firm.

Ideally prior experience in CA-CIB applications (credit ratings, return on equity, KYC).
