Hatch Asia is exclusively partnering with a global organization within the building materials industry to help identify a dynamic Project Executive to oversee roofing projects from initiation to completion.
The Challenges
- Project Management: Oversee roofing installation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, specification, budget, and schedule while managing resources and risks.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interface effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to achieve project goals.
- Technical and Quality Oversight: Review specifications, recommend installation methods, and ensure product quality meets or exceeds set standards.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a Safety First approach, aiming for zero accidents, incidents, and illnesses throughout project execution.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on KPIs, including productivity, rejection rate, downtime, and cost targets, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What It Takes
- Education and Experience: Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering/Construction Management with 23 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction environments, ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to manage subcontractors/workers, uphold brand integrity, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Safety and Quality Focus: Thorough knowledge of construction safety protocols and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking, stress management, and the ability to drive improvements in cost, quality, and productivity.
