Project Estimator | Hospitality, Commercial Kitchens & International Projects

We are hiring for one of the region's most respected legacy players in hospitality outfitting, commercial kitchens, bars, fabrication, and large-scale project execution.

For more than 80 years, our client has delivered some of the Middle East & Africa's most recognized hospitality, restaurant, airport, and commercial projects — representing premium international brands and custom-engineered solutions.

This is not a junior role.

This is for someone who understands projects commercially, technically, and strategically.

Someone who can walk into a tender, read between the lines, understand drawings, pricing, suppliers, fabrication realities, installation challenges — and build accurate, profitable project estimates.

You will work directly with leadership and engineering teams on international projects across the region.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing detailed project quotations, reviewing technical documentation, supporting the commercial and engineering teams, and helping ensure projects are priced accurately and strategically.

This role sits at the intersection of:

• Engineering
• Commercial strategy
• Procurement
• Fabrication
• Hospitality operations
• Value engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, BOQs, technical specifications, and project requirements
• Read and interpret architectural, MEP, shop, and technical drawings
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for international hospitality projects
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement teams, fabricators, engineering, and project stakeholders
• Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis
• Participate in value engineering and cost optimization exercises
• Identify opportunities for alternative materials, suppliers, and smarter commercial solutions
• Support the sales and leadership teams during proposal and bid stages
• Ensure pricing aligns with project profitability and operational realities
• Assist in project handovers from estimation to execution teams

Requirements

• Strong experience in estimation, technical quotations, or project costing
• Ability to confidently read technical and construction drawings
• Strong understanding of BOQs, project costing, and materials
• Experience within hospitality, construction, fit-out, fabrication, or technical project environments
• Strong Excel and organizational skills
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities
• Experience working on medium-to-large scale projects is highly preferred
