We’re seeking several Project Engineers & Senior Project Engineers to join our team in Brisbane or Adelaide. You’ll be involved in multidisciplinary engineering, procurement and project delivery activities across the full project lifecycle - from concept to detailed design through to construction, commissioning and handover.Join Worley's team delivering EPCM services for one of Australia's largest copper growth programs with a leading global mining company. Spanning major underground mine expansions and processing infrastructure projects, this portfolio will help unlock future copper supply while offering the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team that values belonging, innovation, and shared success.What you'll doCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering, procurement and project delivery activities to support safe, efficient, cost-effective and timely project execution.Supporting project delivery through all phases, from concept and detailed design through procurement, construction support, commissioning and handover.Helping ensure projects align with the client’s approved basis of design, as well as relevant regulatory, statutory and code requirements.Coordinating the review of technical data across multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.Managing project scope, change control, risk and issue resolution to achieve successful project outcomes.Supporting schedule development, progress tracking, forecasting and cost control across project delivery.Engaging directly with clients to support successful project delivery and build strong, long-term working relationships.Working closely with procurement teams, vendors and contractors to support equipment and material procurement activities.Providing leadership and coordination across engineering disciplines, fostering collaboration and accountability within project teams.Supporting construction and commissioning activities by resolving technical issues and ensuring seamless project execution.Preparing and presenting project status updates, key risks and mitigation strategies to internal and external stakeholders.About YouProject Engineering experience supported by a Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification.Demonstrated experience delivering projects within the mining, minerals & metals sectorStrong understanding of project delivery methodologies across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities across various stages of the project lifecycle.Experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and contractors.Strong knowledge of project controls, including scope management, cost control, scheduling and risk management.Confidence building and maintaining positive client relationships, with excellent stakeholder management skills.Commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical, schedule and budget requirements.A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to adapt in a dynamic project environment.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive delivery across diverse project stakeholders.Benefits to youFlexible / hybrid workingPaid parental leavePurchased leave schemeSalary packaging including novated leases, personal electronic devices and EV car subscriptionSalary continuance insuranceProfessional membership reimbursementEmployee discounts including health insurance, gyms, hotels & car hireRewards & Incentives through Worley's Appreciate rewards programLearning & career opportunitiesAbout usWorley is a global company of energy, chemicals and resources experts headquartered in Australia.
