About the role

For a leading engineering site in Puurs, we are seeking a Project Engineer specializing in Transport and Handling Equipment. This role is integral to the automation and enhancement of logistics processes, supporting the delivery of high-quality injectable pharmaceuticals.

As our clients site expands, there is a growing need to evolve surrounding processes for material supply to production departments, enhancing efficiency and establishing just-in-time delivery systems. The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in automating processes, from robotization of manual tasks to optimizing pallet transport and vial handling.

Key responsibilities

Develop and monitor project plans for multiple equipment packages
Identify potential risks related to safety, breakdowns, and operability
Manage stakeholder relationships across various departments
Report progress to project teams and management at regular intervals
Draft equipment specifications and coordinate with suppliers
Serve as the primary contact for equipment suppliers
Align production department needs with project objectives
Organize and attend equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
Oversee installation, testing, verification, and commissioning of equipment
Prepare and deliver necessary project documentation

Profile

About you

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Bioengineering, or equivalent
A first experience in a related role is necessary
Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages is mandatory
Excellent organizational, communication and documentation skills
Teamplayer
Knowledge of robotics and automation is a plus
