Job Description

• Examines photographs, devices, units, and components to write descriptive reports of products under investigation.
• May prepare reports concerning factory inspections and follow-up testing.
• Responsible for answering correspondence and sending application forms to prospective clients.
• May assist with preparation of specific test schedules and data sheets.
• Communicates with managerial and non-managerial personnel and clients by telephone, in person, and by correspondence to clarify information pertinent to product description and to transmit information relative to the preparation of engineering reports and correspondence.
• Uses system software to prepare letters and technical reports for laboratory test data sheets, test records, product descriptions, and report photographs.
• Assembles and disassembles test samples.
• May conduct basic laboratory tests.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed.

To handle Certification Process for EIA areas from new proposal to complete Certification activities.

To prepare, review, process all information received from the product and present all information in a rational format that accomplish all UL standards requirements.

To communicate all information, details and activities to customers, reviewers, technicians and involved areas of the certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or a related field

• 1 year of experience in electrical engineering within industrial, energy, or automation environments.

• Experience managing electrical projects, including planning, execution, and coordination.

• English proficiency (spoken and written) – minimum 80%
