Standard Job Description

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications

Leadership skills and ability to influence/lead people

Excellent communication skills at various levels of the organization

Understands lean manufacturing concepts and flow

Solid analytical and organizational skills

Strong financial and budgeting skills

Ability to lead and manage conflicts in fast paced environment

Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Desired Skills

SAP/COS skills

CAM certified

Understanding of Risk Management Principles

Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Green or Black Belt certified

Proposal Experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
