In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

This facility will offer 1,200 local new jobs and will be the first health manufacturing facility in Querétaro (pioneers for healthcare Hub).

The Opportunity

  • Responsible for subcomponent of a project and/or assists Project Manager. Confirms completion of activities with cross
  • functional team, coordinates among team members. Follows quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Tracks the development and implementation process of site products and services involving the site cross-functional
  • teams focused on the transfer and manufacturing of products. This position is for a professional that will be exercising
  • technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures. Must have expertise using program
  • management tools. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result
  • in noncompliance with governmental regulations. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or
  • data requires a review of identifiable factors, record actions and track results systematically. Exercises judgement within
  • defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has technical knowledge that will allow her/him to
  • look for alternatives and understand their impact on the systems environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate input from multiple areas with assistance from manager
  • Coordinate with assistance from manager project activities and ensure all milestones and project phases are documented
  • appropriately in the timeline
  • Assist with the development of a preliminary implementation plan. Propose contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen
  • errors
  • Identify the multiple areas’ needs to support with the design and development of the project plan.
  • Translate project goals into project tasks.
  • Identify business or technical problems, resolve them and make adjustments to meet milestones.
  • Analyze date for true causes of problems.
  • Recognize the broader implication of actions and proposals on the final project outcome.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and presentations for the team.
  • Negotiate schedules and milestones and resources requirement to meet project outcomes, guiding the project team with
  • communication skills to the completion of project.
  • May function as the project contact with third party vendors.
  • Help others in the completion of project tasks and provide support in the decision-making process.
  • Provide updates on the latest timing and impact to the overall project with suggestions on how to proceed.
  • Understands the business needs and incorporates business foresight of emerging technological trends.
  • Uses established PM tools and techniques and present options to solve issues and give recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 3 years of professional experience in the same rol.
  • Project Engineer · Experience in Project management
  • Experience using MS Project
  • Coordinate different groups and align to project objectives
  • Multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to present and communicate project status
  • Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)
