  • Prepare process designs, equipment specifications, and cost estimates for optimization and capital projects.
  • Participate in capital project execution from concept development through commissioning and start-up.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support business decisions and project prioritization.
  • Collaborate with plant teams to drive change management and secure stakeholder buy-in for new initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical resource for projects related to process optimization and operational performance.
  • Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to support project execution and implementation.

What we are looking for to deliver these results:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Food, Process, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering, process optimization, or continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the dairy or food manufacturing industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in a process-driven industry such as food, dairy, petrochemical, or other complex manufacturing environments is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems and operational data analysis (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Availability to travel occasionally between the St-Laurent and Ottawa facilities.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required to collaborate with colleagues and partners across Canada.

A role for those who want to contribute to measurable and sustainable results.
