A DAY IN THE LIFE …

Project Engineering Delivery

  • Deliver assigned engineering activities from concept design through commissioning and handover for powder filling and packing projects.

  • Translate business and user requirements into robust technical specifications and fit-for purpose engineering solutions.

  • Support project planning activities including scope definition, CAPEX estimation, scheduling, and technical risk management.

  • Ensure execution meets agreed requirements for safety, quality, cost, performance, and timing.

Functional Engineering Expertise

  • Provide engineering expertise for powder filling and packing systems, including fillers, primary and secondary packaging equipment, conveying systems, inspection systems, and palletizing solutions.

  • Review layouts, process flows, equipment design, and supplier proposals to ensure hygienic design, dust management, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

  • Apply sound technical judgment to equipment selection, line integration, and performance optimization.

Safety, Food Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with Nestlé Safety, Health and Environment requirements, Food Safety standards, and applicable local regulations.

  • Participate in design and installation risk assessments covering machinery safety, hygienic engineering, dust control, and explosion prevention where applicable.

  • Embed compliance requirements into engineering decisions and supplier follow-up activities.

Stakeholder and Supplier Management

  • Work closely with OEMs, contractors, procurement, operations, maintenance, quality, and safety teams to deliver project objectives.

  • Act as a technical interface for assigned scope during design reviews, factory acceptance testing, installation, and commissioning.

  • Support supplier clarification, technical evaluation, and follow-up to ensure quality and performance expectations are met.

Commissioning and Operational Handover

  • Support and lead commissioning, start-up, validation, and handover activities for powder filling and packing systems.

  • Verify that installed solutions achieve expected safety, quality, capacity, and reliability targets.

  • Ensure project documentation, training inputs, and lessons learned are completed for sustainable operational ownership.

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in powder filling, packaging engineering, or capital project execution within food, dairy, nutrition, coffee, or FMCG environments.

  • Experience working with OEMs, technical specifications, equipment reviews, FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning activities.

  • Good communication skills in English and Thai are preferred for effective stakeholder coordination.
