Project Engineer – Diesel Power Generation Systems

Responsible for the execution and coordination of diesel generator projects from order receipt through engineering, documentation, manufacturing, FAT, delivery, commissioning support, and project close-out. Acts as the primary technical interface between customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, contract documents, and client requirements.
• Coordinate engineering activities for diesel generator packages.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including:

1. General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
2. Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
3. Wiring Diagrams
4. Foundation Drawings
5. Fuel System Drawings
6. Fire Detection & Suppression System Drawings
7. O&M Manuals
8. FAT/SAT Procedures
9. Method Statements
10. Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
11. Quality Plans
12. Certificates of Conformity
13. Warranty Certificates
14. Comment Response Sheets (CRS)

• Review consultant comments and coordinate revisions with engineering teams.
• Liaise with customers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and commercial issues.
• Monitor manufacturing progress and coordinate with production to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), inspections, and customer visits.
• Coordinate with client and logistics department to ensure timely deliveries without any issues.
• Coordinate commissioning activities.
• Review purchase orders, commercial terms, and payment milestones in coordination with the sales team.
• Prepare technical clarifications, compliance statements, and deviation reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely submission of engineering documents.

• Experience in automotive or heavy-duty truck/Generator parts (Iveco, FPT, Perkins, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Cummins, Volvo, Scania, etc.)
• Experience working with OEM and aftermarket parts.

Job Timings: 9:30am - 6:30pm
