We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering complex capital projects as part of this transformation. If you thrive in a fast-paced, engineering-led environment, we want to hear from you.

What you will do:

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the mechanical aspects of large-scale construction and installation projects for Project Invictus. You will oversee design, procurement, contractor management, and project execution to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure mechanical systems integrate seamlessly with electrical and civil engineering workstreams. Your role will involve managing the design, specification, and procurement of mechanical equipment and infrastructure, overseeing contractor activities to ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards, and supporting the planning and coordination of installation and commissioning phases.

You will also be responsible for resolving engineering challenges, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and industry best practices. This is a hands-on role where problem-solving, collaboration, and technical expertise will be key to delivering a safe, efficient, and high-performing facility.

What you will need:

We are looking for a mechanical engineer with experience in capital projects, heavy industry, or large-scale construction.

You will need a degree or HNC in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, a background in managing mechanical aspects of major construction or industrial projects, and knowledge of CDM regulations with experience in contractor oversight. Strong problem-solving and risk management skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment, are essential.

If you have a passion for engineering excellence and want to be part of a transformative project, we would love to hear from you.
