Job Description

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our office in Milan HQ.

The Project Engineer - Land Installation will be part of a dynamic and international environment, working on projects relevant for the green transition to renewable energy.

She/he will play an active part in the execution and success of the activities, interact with a multicultural team, in close contact with subcontractors and clients. This will definitely be an accelerator for personal and professional growth.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in defining cable installation requirements.

  • Preparation of technical documents for cable installation activities such as detailed drawings, descriptive documents.

  • Active interaction with internal departments, external consultants, subcontractors and clients.

  • Support in planning activities of cable installation on site, with in addition possible site visits to check feasibility of the proposed solutions.

  • Technical support to purchasing department for the finalization of subcontracts.

  • Preparation and check of final as-built documentation.

You are the right fit if you have/are:

  • Honours degree in technical engineering (preferably civil, mechanical, or materials engineering)

  • Fluent in English written and spoken

  • 0/3 years of work experience

  • As a plus, capability to speak, understand and write in German Language

  • Knowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, GIS.

  • Preference will be given to those who have basic knowledge of the land cable installation business/market

  • Good relationship approach

  • Team working capability

  • Problem solving, target oriented, proactive approach in finding solutions in complex environment

  • Capability to set and to handle pragmatically the priorities

  • Flexibility and capability to manage changes during the work

  • Wish to quickly learn and get involved.

What we offer

  • Type of contract: Permanent full time

  • Location: Milan, Hybrid

  • Applicable Collective Agreement CCNL Gomma, Plastica, Cavi elettrici e affini.

  • Job Level/Category: In line with the applicable collective agreement.

  • Gross annual salary no less than: € 34.000

  • The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
