To strengthen our engineering team at our cocoa plant in Hamburg, we are looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d) The position is initially limited to 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
Your Responsibilities:
• Full responsibility for individual investment projects at the site
• Planning and execution of technical projects in production and infrastructure
• Coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Support in building permit and approval procedures
• Construction supervision while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Schedule, budget, and cost control including regular reporting
• Coordination of suppliers and service providers
• Liaison with authorities such as BUKEA, HPA, Occupational Safety Office, and Fire Department
Your Profile:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Minimum 4 years of experience in project planning and execution, ideally within the food or manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of construction and approval procedures as well as authority management
• Strong organizational skills and cost awareness
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
