It is vital to have the skills to work on a wide range of engineering issues involving a great variety of stakeholders, whilst operating with a high degree of self-sufficiency. Experience with engineering project deployment and a degree of practical experience is also highly beneficial. Besides a rock-solid work ethic and a strong team-oriented personality, members of our team display creativity, great problem-solving skills, genuine passion for the mission, and a drive to break new ground in a constantly evolving technological environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide engineering support during the contracting phase, offering design and integration recommendations for different applications and project locations

  • Collaborate with the global Tesla Energy team to favour inter-regional cooperation and stay up to date on latest project/product designs and improvements
  • Gather and communicate local markets' technical and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance; provide feedback on design, installation, and commissioning processes to facilitate continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering; alternatively, demonstrated exceptional ability in the electrical engineering field through equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of battery systems, electrical protection, power conversion, MV/HV systems, communication systems, and control systems
  • Ability to prioritise and execute multiple tasks in parallel, with excellent attention to detail and quality decision-making
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional fluency in English and German (required); French, Dutch, and/or Spanish is a plus
  • Relevant work experience, including significant involvement in electrical design, system deployment, testing, and commissioning
  • Knowledge of local codes and regulations, plus experience with commercial or industrial electrical installations and electricity distribution systems

Highly Beneficial

  • Experience facilitating grid connections
  • Project management and/or EPC experience
  • Health and safety management experience
