Role Definition
Supervisor of a team of engineers who will collaborate with mechanical design engineers in the integration and design of robotic cells with tooling, focusing on the automation of processes within the metal-mechanical industry

Responsibilities
Design and Development of Automated Systems

  • Develop and engineer automation solutions, including work cells, production lines, and control systems, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and industry standards.

System Integration

  • Integrate mechanical, electrical, and control components into fully functional automated systems, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Testing, Commissioning, and Validation

  • Lead or support system testing activities, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), ensuring proper functionality prior to production release.

Process Improvement and Optimization

  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for automation, improving efficiency, reliability, and cycle times through continuous improvement initiatives.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support

  • Diagnose and resolve automation-related issues, providing advanced technical support to production and maintenance teams.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure that all automated systems comply with applicable safety regulations and standards, including the implementation of safety controls and risk assessments.

Documentation and Standardization

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including control schematics, system layouts, and operational manuals, ensuring adherence to established standards.

Degree Requirement

  • Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Mechatronic engineering, or Control and Automation Engineering, Electronic Engineering, etc.
  • English-speaking levelintermediate or advanced is required.

  • Handles calls related to product features, applications, and compatibility standards.
  • Analyzes code, logs, and current systems as part of advanced troubleshooting.
  • Records and reports specific technical problems, solving processes and tools that have been used.

Additional Information

  • This position is to work in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.

  • Work schedule is set to Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm.

  • This position requires 25% or less travel (domestic and international).

  • Relocation bonus is not available.
