Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support the development and launch of automotive seating and interior products, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities throughout the product development process, from RFQ and concept phase through SOP and launch support
• Act as a key technical interface between customers, engineering teams, and other internal stakeholders
• Manage project timing, deliverables, risks, and technical requirements to ensure successful project execution
• Coordinate design, validation, manufacturing, and quality activities throughout development
• Support technical reviews, feasibility studies, engineering changes, and problem-solving activities
• Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and recovery plans to management and customers
• Ensure customer requirements are translated into robust engineering solutions
• Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions throughout the development cycle
• Collaborate with international engineering and program teams across multiple locations

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automotive product development, project engineering, or a similar engineering role
• Experience with automotive interiors and/or seating systems
• Proven knowledge of the full product development lifecycle, from RFQ through SOP and launch support
• Experience working directly with OEM or Tier 1 automotive customers and cross-functional engineering teams
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken. German language is an advantage.
