The ideal candidate brings strong engineering expertise, experience managing complex industrial projects, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. You will work closely with operations, maintenance, contractors, vendors, and leadership to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage capital and expense projects from project development through installation, commissioning, and closeout.

  • Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate internal resources, vendors, and contractors to meet project objectives.
  • Provide hands-on engineering support in both the office and on the production floor, including equipment installation and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for newly installed equipment and processes.
  • Track project milestones, spending, risks, and performance; provide regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Identify and address project risks, resolve issues, and manage changes to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Incorporate safety, environmental compliance, and applicable codes and standards into every phase of project execution.
  • Prepare requests for quotation and bid packages, evaluate proposals, recommend purchases, and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for operations and maintenance, and oversee training to support operational readiness.
  • Support departmental goals for on-time delivery, budget performance, and return on investment.
  • Research and recommend technologies and processes that improve manufacturing operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • At least 7 years of project management experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, with 7–10 years of relevant experience desired.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects valued at $1 million to $20 million, including the installation of new equipment and processes.
  • Experience directing internal teams and external contractors through project execution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software.
  • Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
  • A commitment to workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications
