As a Project Engineer at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Collaborate with architects and engineers throughout all phases of construction, including pre-construction/design phases.
Assist in developing project budgets, timelines, and procurement plans.
Review and manage design documents for constructability and distribution to client & subcontractors.
Construction Management:
Assist with developing and maintaining the project schedule, including monthly updates, and progress tracking.
Process change orders and manage scope changes between the client, subcontractors, and designers.
Assist in securing vendors and subcontractors.
Monitor costs and assist with budget management.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
Coordinate with the owner and security officers for base access and ensure proper clearance.
Construction Oversight:
Support and oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
Assist in monitoring worksite safety and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Assist in the coordination of subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
Documentation & Reporting:
Documenting and Coordinating meetings, tracking actions, and decisions.
Manage submittals and RFIs.
Support QC inspections and ensure project quality standards are maintained.
Requirements:
Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management Related degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent competency achieved through relevant work experience.
Work Experience as Construction Project Engineer or Project Manager.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Procore
Willing to travel and relocate near the project location.
Ability to obtain an Employer-Sponsored U.S. Government Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
