The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing manufacturing projects from initiation to closure. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Lead end-to-end project execution from order receipt to closure
Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules (MSP)
Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to timelines
Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with Sales, Production, Quality, Purchase, Planning, Logistics, Engineering, and other teams
Ensure timely release of drawings and production orders
Drive coordination to meet customer delivery requirements
Technical Review & Support
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents
Validate BOM and routing in ERP (LN Cloud)
Resolve technical queries with engineering/product teams
Communicate critical quality requirements to stakeholders
Material & Resource Planning
Assess project-wise raw material requirements
Coordinate for material availability and smooth workflow
Track import consignments related to projects
Project Monitoring & Control
Identify critical tasks and manage project risks
Track project budgets, costs, and performance metrics
Conduct regular project review meetings (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)
Ensure alignment between ERP progress and actual execution
Reporting, Documentation & Compliance
Prepare project status reports and dashboards (OTD, margins, etc.)
Manage monthly project closure reporting
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
Follow HSEQ policies and company code of conduct
Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
Experience & Qualifications
2–7 years of experience in project engineering within a manufacturing industry
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of fabrication, machining, and welding/.
Experience with ERP systems (preferably LN Cloud)
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
Data analysis and reporting (Excel/Power BI preferred)
Familiarity with ISO standards preferred
Strong stakeholder management, coordination and communication skills, Proficiency in English. Speaking and understanding Marathi and Hindi is preferred
Analytical and problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
