Job Description

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer or Project Engineer to support the development of heat pump systems and help close a short-term capability gap within our development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support general product development activities, with a focus on technical investigations and mechanical design FMEA.
• Contribute to the preparation and execution of development cycle requirements (Gates, milestones, deliverables).
• Define and execute test plans; analyse and interpret test results to validate unit requirements.
• Propose design improvements based on test results and system behaviour.
• Analyse structural and mechanical issues and propose optimisation measures to improve product robustness, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
• Take decisions and actions while balancing quality, cost, and timing constraints.
• Plan and manage own activities in alignment with global project timelines.
• Communicate progress clearly, identify bottlenecks, and support the implementation of corrective action plans.

Required Profile

• Master’s degree in engineering (Electro‑Mechanical or equivalent).
• Strong technical and analytical mindset, with a solution‑oriented and proactive approach.
• Experience in product development, preferably in HVAC, heat pumps, or similar industrial products.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a project environment.
• Team‑oriented, with good communication skills in a multidisciplinary context.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
