Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager in the daily coordination, planning and execution of the pipe jacking and open cut laying project plan at site. Responsible for project delivery including engineering, schedule, budget, coordination and site supervision. Assist the Project Manager in liaising with client (PUB), PUB consultant, and sub-contractors and contract administration. Responsible for overall paper works related to the project involving client and consultant. Prepare all necessary reports/records for submission as and when required (RFI, RFQ, Method Statements, Progress Reports, etc) Develop project plans using MS Project for allocated tasks and progressively update the construction planning schedule. Jointly verify and approve subcontractors' claims with Subcontractor and Quantity Surveyor and Work with project QS to prepare monthly progress claims. Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superior or Head of Department.
Requirements: Degree in Civil, Structural and/or Geotechnical Engineering recognized by the PE Board; or qualification acceptable to IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Council (JAC) as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer. Minimum 5 years experience in pipe jacking projects, experience in open cut laying of pipeline is an added advantage.
