What you’ll do:

We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our Brisbane-based Mining team, supporting the delivery of small to medium sustaining capital projects across mining infrastructure.

This role suits someone with 3–10 years’ experience who has come from a civil or mechanical background and is looking to build toward a Project Manager pathway. You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle, with opportunities to spend time on site and potentially transition into a site-based rostered role in the future. You’ll be;

  • Supporting the delivery of sustaining capital projects from concept through to execution

  • Coordinating technical inputs across multidisciplinary teams

  • Assisting with planning, scheduling, cost tracking and reporting

  • Managing contractors and supporting site works when required

  • Working closely with clients to ensure project objectives are met

  • Contributing to design reviews and constructability outcomes

About you:

  • 3–10 years’ experience in a Project Engineer or similar role

  • Degree in Engineering, with a preference for Civil or Mechanical

  • Experience within mining or heavy industry infrastructure projects

  • Exposure to sustaining capital or brownfield projects (highly regarded)

  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills

  • Willingness to undertake site travel, with openness to site-based work longer term

  • An interest in progressing into a Project Management career pathway
