Project Engineer - Cloud & Azure Solutions

We are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer with strong Microsoft cloud expertise to lead and deliver infrastructure and cloud migration projects for multiple client environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning projects end-to-end — from technical planning and solution design to deployment, documentation, and client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong, and comfortable working directly with clients while managing multiple implementations simultaneously.

You will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and cloud-first environments using Microsoft technologies, with a strong focus on Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud & Infrastructure Projects

• Lead and execute cloud migration projects across multiple client environments
• Design, deploy, and support Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
• Build secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-first solutions
• Configure and manage:
  • Identity and access management
  • Networking components
  • Firewalls
  • Security policies
• Perform Microsoft 365 integrations and environment configurations
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions

Project Ownership

• Serve as the technical lead throughout the full project lifecycle:
  • Discovery
  • Scoping
  • Planning
  • Deployment
  • Documentation
  • Closeout
• Manage multiple technical projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and project objectives
• Collaborate closely with account managers, service desk teams, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
• Identify risks proactively and apply security best practices throughout implementations

Documentarion & Client Communication

• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation aligned with company SOPs
• Provide clear project updates and communicate technical information effectively to clients and internal stakeholders
• Support post-deployment handoff and knowledge transfer activities

Required qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a:
  • Project Engineer
  • Systems Engineer
  • Cloud Engineer
  • Infrastructure Engineer
  • or similar role
• Proven experience delivering:
  • Azure migrations
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments
  • Microsoft 365 integrations
• Strong understanding of:
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Entra Domain Services
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Firewall configuration
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Strong client-facing communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of technical projects
