PKM Canada Marine Terminal LP is recruiting for a high performing Project Engineer with a passion for making a difference to join our team. This position is based at Vancouver Wharves; a dynamic fast paced marine terminal; located in North Vancouver, B.C and reports to the Supervisor, Operations Engineering. This role is for an Engineer who thrives on ownership, values operational credibility, and wants to see their work directly impact terminal safety, reliability, and performance.
The Vancouver Wharves terminal handles bulk cargo including mineral concentrates, diesel, sulphur, and grain products on behalf of customers. The role is critical to the safe, reliable, and compliant operations of our assets. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mechanical sustaining capital projects from inception to commissioning; including, project definition, planning, field execution, and close out. The portfolio focuses on improving existing assets, extending their service life, and implementing production and operational efficiencies. The role is responsible for annual equipment regulatory inspections and repairs. The Project Engineer will act as a technical resource for the operations and maintenance teams and aid with ensuring compliance applicable regulatory and Pembina standards.

This position is based out of the Vancouver Wharves terminal in North Vancouver, B.C. successful candidates must live within 50 km of the terminal.
This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
