Job Description


Responsible to plan, implement, control and develop the quality standards of all processes and execution such that all projects are to the expected standards set. The QA manager can adapt any quality system/approach to assure international standards are being incorporated.
The role will include the following:
Provide an independent review of all site management processes to ensure that each project is in compliance with the design plans, maintaining agreed quality standards
Work in partnership with the Design and Construction Managers to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the expected standard of quality
Work with both the Purchasing and Contracts Manager and the Warehouse and Logistics Manager to ensure that all materials are delivered to the expected quality standards as per any agreed supply agreements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Creates a business culture focused on Quality execution and performance amongst the teams, by coaching, training and education 
  2. Aligns and Sets up the Strategic Quality standards for the business to cope the short/long-terms business prospective 
  3. Designs and implements a plan to raise the quality and standards within the organization
  4. Designs and implements Retal’s Quality standards, benchmarks and policies 
  5. Proactively manages QA department Staff, assuring on-time task fulfilment 
  6. Create specifications for any new products, processes and business opportunities as required 
  7. Verifies and validates the quality of all aspects of the a project development assuring full compliance with Retal’s, Saudi and International building codes and standards 
  8. Suggest as required, new approaches and methods of design or construction, processes and implementation, to raise quality standards on projects 
  9. Maintains archive documentation system as reference for current/future planning and forecasting 
  10. Designs specifications for any new products, processes and business opportunities as required 
  11. Continuously review internal and external systems and processes to ensure that Retal continues to raise its own operational standards 
  12. Responsible to achieve Quality set aims of the business
  13. Controls/Appraises internal and external processes, products, outcomes for compliance to the set quality measures and standards 
  14. Supports all Operations Managers to implement the most efficient waste-free, safe and productive processes and operations whilst maintaining the desired levels of quality and profitability 
  15. Controls/Appraises internal and external processes, products, outcomes for compliance to the set quality measures and standards 
  16. Controls and Monitors the Compliance rates in the different departments in the business assuring required support is being extended and Reporting tools are being in place 
  17. Supports in certification of the business for quality and safety standards 
  18. Undertaking other tasks as assigned by the Direct Manager or Development Director.
