Job Description

Under limited supervision, works to serve as technical lead for the DENSO NA Sustainability (ESG) Platform. The DENSO NA Sustainability Platform enables regulatory compliance, sustainability reporting according to external customer requirements, and achievement of DENSO sustainability goals.Confirms completion criteria for each project deliverable and tracks status towards completion. Maintains communication with the customer and informs regularly on project status.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with NA Sustainability Promotion (within Safety, Health, and Enviroment [SHE]) to define business requirements which enable regulatory compliance, meeting external customer reporting expectations, and achieving DENSO sustainability goals.
  • Lead overall system integration through collaboration with other departments in NA ITDC, such as IoT, Data Analytics, and IT in order to assure the appropriate data flow to enable the ESG system to make the correct calculations focused on product carbon footprint and tracking real-time energy usage
  • Translate business requirements into system technical requirements along with managing the implementation in order to assure customer expectations of ESG system are met
  • Create and execute test plans in order to assure system quality while applying problem solving skills to address all testing related issues
  • Drive system adoption through creation and executing user training plans, engaging users to address system usability issues, and identifying root causeand implementing corrective actions to system technical issues
  • Establishes and leads regular cross-functional collaboration meetings with project team, such as milestone meetings, design review, etc. Utilizes appropriate tools to facilitate communication across the project team.
  • Maintains communication with the customer and informs regularly on project status.
  • Identifies any risks/issues with the project and escalates up to management and others as needed.
  • Creates various project reports and presents to management, including, but not limited to , project completeness, and risks and issues.
  • Actively seeks and recognizes potential improvements to processes and/or project tools.
  • May act as an advisor or mentor to junior professionals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of related experience

Annual Salary: $107,000 – $133,000
