Project Engineer – Civil Engineering Design
We are seeking a full-time, qualified, and motivated Project Engineer with 2–3+ years of progressive experience in the design of private subdivision and land development projects.
Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
EIT or PE certification (preferred)
Relevant continuing education or coursework
2–3+ years of progressive design experience in land development
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydroflow, and Microsoft Office
Understanding of stormwater management, E&S design, grading, utilities, and road profiles
Familiarity with zoning, stormwater, subdivision, and land development regulations
Responsibilities:
Design subdivision and land development projects across residential, commercial, retail, industrial, and institutional sectors
Review and apply zoning, subdivision, stormwater, and other regulatory requirements
Prepare sketch plans, site plans, grading, utilities, and road & utility profile plans
Assist senior designers and prepare design packages, reports, and submissions
Collaborate regularly with project managers and team members to coordinate goals, schedules, and project progress
Manage time effectively and communicate project status frequently
