The Engineering Project and Solutions Division (EPSD) in Air Liquide is responsible for rendering expertise to design, install and manage gas supply systems, storage infrastructure and gas handling equipment to enhance productivity, product quality and safety in our clients’ operations.
In your role as Project Engineer within the EPSD team, you will lead project teams to achieve mechanical completion and commissioning, ensuring adherence to schedules, technical specifications, and budgetary constraints. Your responsibilities include participating in pre-tender activities to identify, negotiate with, and secure suitable contractors and essential equipment. By leveraging your technical proficiency, you will optimize resource allocation and recommend cost-effective installation strategies to improve project margins. Additionally, you will champion the Air Liquide safety culture by verifying that all project activities and improvements comply with the Company's Quality Management System and HSE standards.
Supporting the on-site testing and commissioning of Gas Distribution Equipment.
Managing and producing essential equipment documentation, including Field Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Commissioning reports.
Leading equipment design reviews and coordinating follow-up matters with AL affiliates and clients.
Providing comprehensive after-sales service, including basic and advanced troubleshooting and on-site service calls.
Reviewing SCADA graphics, scales, and settings, and collaborating with GMS SCADA programmers during the commissioning phase.
Performing faulty component replacements for manifold and controller parts during commissioning.
Enhancing local after-service support capabilities through training and collaboration with on-site engineers.
Communicating with ALES ASIA to resolve program-specific troubleshooting based on client requirements.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Chemistry)
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in engineering project management.
Comprehensive knowledge of project management tools, project controls, and QA/QC processes.
Technical proficiency in gas properties, delivery safety, and interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings.
Practical experience with PLC and HMI systems, complemented by procurement and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated resilience, strong time-management abilities, and a collaborative stakeholder-focused mindset.
