The Project Engineer 2 at The Wine Group plans, organizes, and directs a broad range of process and capital engineering projects. This role supports equipment reliability, process optimization, and project execution by applying strong engineering design skills, Lean practices, and Design Reliability Centered Maintenance methodology.
This position serves as a key link between Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations, providing technical input to improve equipment design, operation, reliability, and maintainability. The Project Engineer 2 will lead and support project and process engineering activities, identify opportunities for improvement, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions, and provide technical assistance to stakeholders throughout TWG Operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong examples of process design, optimization, troubleshooting, and project management experience within a consumer goods manufacturing environment. Curiosity and hands-on problem-solving are key attributes, with the expectation that the candidate will continue to grow technical expertise across winery processing and manufacturing disciplines. This role will serve as a technical resource for process knowledge, mechanical design, troubleshooting, electrical systems, and other engineering-related support needs.
Ideal candidates will have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field, along with 5+ years of engineering and project management experience. EIT and PE certifications are a plus.
