The Project Director of the Women and Children’s Program is responsible for the operational success of the Pregnant and Postpartum Women’s Program. This role provides strategic oversight of program design and service delivery for women and children and works in close collaboration with the Director of Residential Services.
The Project Director ensures effective team management and development, high-quality program implementation, and ongoing evaluation and quality assurance. Additionally, the Project Director oversees a growing staff and expands the impact of services and evidence-based practices (EBPs) tailored to support women and their children in recovery and beyond, while building and maintaining strong relationships with community partners and contractors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership:
- Cultivate existing relationships with grantors with the goal of ensuring service quality, programmatic sustainability, and service expansion.
- Develop and implement strategies that will maximize the impact of services on the lives of clients and within the communities served.
- Develop and maintain a programmatic advisory committee, including cultivating and sustaining relationships with Advisory Committee members.
- Work closely with leadership across residential programming to ensure a standard of care for case management services.
- Work closely with finance to ensure appropriate spending.
- Manage relationships with the evaluation team, including grant reporting, continuous quality improvement, and grant evaluation.
- Active member of the agency leadership team.
Team Management and Development:
- Develop and implement a system to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of all staff.
- Work with staff to develop objective performance measurements in alignment with the overall programmatic strategic aims and values, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all team members.
- Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of individual, programmatic, and organizational performance standards.
Program Operational Management:
- In coordination with organizational leadership, establish and implement consistent, objective program performance standards of accountability.
- Develop and implement a service delivery system that ensures quality care to women, and children enrolled in the program, also engaging with family members as appropriate.
- Provide guidance to staff to ensure quality services to those we serve, building out a service model that is clear and concise to all involved throughout the life cycle of service
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data collection and reporting measures, including completion of funder reports.
- Develop and maintain systems for appropriate distribution of program enhancements to clients.
- Develop and monitor programmatic match in order to ensure quality service and adequate tracking; done in coordination with finance.
- Ensure compliance with ECECD regulations.
- Maintain regular communication as required with the funder.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience in applying methodologies to implement complex process improvement initiatives toward client-centered care outcomes.
- Demonstrated data management for measuring programmatic outcomes along with operational performance.
- Demonstrated leadership and track record of influencing others toward implementing key tools and strategies while developing competencies in a complex and diverse environment.
- Adaptable and flexible.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field of study preferred.
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience with programming related to services to women, children, and their families.
- Strong project management skills managing complex projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth.
- Strong analysis and computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional presentation skills.
Salary Description
$61,531 - $98,449
