Project Director of Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA) (Grant Funded)
Arizona Western College is seeking a Project Director of Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA) to lead an innovative initiative supporting small manufacturers, startups, and workforce development across Southwest Arizona. This is a high-impact leadership role that brings people, partnerships, and program goals together to help turn the MBAA vision into results.
Grant funded through the Empower to Grow Program, this position offers the opportunity to lead a collaborative team while building relationships with key partners and helping shape the future of manufacturing in our region. Typical Duties:
- Serves Students. Provides overall leadership, strategic direction, and management accountability for the MBAA program.
- Serves as primary liaison with SBA program officer; manages all SBA reporting and compliance.
- Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, in business, education, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years program management experience
- Manufacturing sector experience and knowledge and Federal grant experience preferred, but not required

Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Arizona Driver’s License or Equivalent
Salary:
$95,000 per year
Notes:
- Location: Wellton Campus
- Working assignment and location dependent upon departmental and/or institutional needs
- Benefits Eligible
- Grant Funded (Empower 2 Grow Grant) – Scheduled to end no later than August 2027
- Exempt, $95,000 12-month annual salary
