FT Admin
The primary purpose of the Program Director managing the Department of Defense (DoD) grants is to report deliverables and accomplishments as directed by the award. Establishing and maintaining scheduling of activities within the timeline on budget and on time. Coordinating meetings and required reports. See key responsibilities below for more details.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Program Management Plan (PMP): Maintain program structure, roles, communication, risk, quality, oversight, and governance processes.
2. Integrated Master Schedule (IMS): Report networked schedule capturing tasks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverable timelines.
3. Risk Register: Identifies programmatic and technical risks, likelihood, consequences, mitigation actions, and owners.
4. Monthly Status Report (MSR): Lead summarizes technical progress, schedule status, financial burn, risks, BOA activity, and upcoming milestones.
5. Quarterly Program Review (QPR): Briefing Comprehensive program update including research progress, workforce metrics, lab modernization, and BOA alignment.
6. BOA Charter & Membership List: Support Board of Advisors (BOA), meeting cadence, and governance processes.
7. Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM): Maps BOA validated requirements to tasks, research activities, curriculum, labs, and deliverables.
8. Final Program Report at the end of the project: Summarizes in a written format all activities, outcomes, metrics, research results, workforce transitions, and recommendations.
9. Recruiting & Outreach Plan: Develop and report a strategy for identifying and engaging Students / clearance-eligible candidates.
10. Establish Micro-Credentials: Courses, labs, and training modules aligned with BOA/ customer requirements.
11. Laboratory Modernization Report: Documentation and approvals of upgrades to labs.
12. Create Student Placement Report: Summary of placements, performance, and alignment with AFRL needs. VICEROY Portal.
13. Annual Workforce Development Symposium Report: Summary of symposium activities, participants, outcomes, and recommendations.
14. Workforce Metrics Report: Collect Data on student progression, placement rates, and transition outcomes.
15. Event Planning and Support: Support the College of Engineering and Science.
16. Create Media Content: In support of Awards and College.
Minimum Qualifications
Education – A Bachelor's Degree
Employment - Two years to five years (Equivalent combination of education and employment). Experience in University / Government Grant Management.
Preferred Qualification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good communication skills, written skills and planning capabilities. Budget monitoring, timelines and project tracking are key.
Physical Requirements
Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds).
Work Environment
Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.

Anticipated Schedule
Monday to Friday 8.30 AM to 5.00 PM.
