You will play a critical role in driving project performance, strengthening client relationships and ensuring safe, predictable and commercially successful project outcomes.

With a growing pipeline of work across Brazil and South America, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, partner with key stakeholders and influence the successful delivery of projects that support the global transition to a sustainable resource future.

In this role, you will:

  • Establish and maintain high standards for project planning, governance, execution and reporting across multiple project environments.

  • Align project objectives with business priorities and client expectations, ensuring successful project outcomes and long-term partnerships.

  • Build, lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary project teams while ensuring appropriate capability and resourcing across project phases.

  • Monitor budgets, schedules, resources and project controls across concurrent projects, providing clear progress updates, recommendations and corrective actions to keep delivery on track and within budget.

  • Manage commercial performance, scope changes, project risks and governance requirements to support predictable project delivery and profitability.

  • Lead project, design and constructability reviews, ensuring work is executed in accordance with approved plans, designs, specifications, quality requirements and Sedgman standards.

  • Establish and oversee project controls frameworks, KPIs and reporting disciplines to support informed decision-making.

  • Champion Sedgman’s commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, collaboration and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Metallurgy, Electrical or Civil; individuals with Construction or Procurement backgrounds will also be considered.

  • 20+ years of relevant experience in project execution and delivery, engineering, and/or site operations or support within mining and mineral processing.

  • Substantial experience in a project execution-related role, preferably within the mining sector.

  • Demonstrated success managing projects in heavy industry, preferably within mining and minerals.

  • Ability to problem solve and get projects back on track.

  • Strong leadership, management and communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English, with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages.

Why this role?

You'll join a high-performing global organisation known for technical excellence, collaborative delivery and long-standing client partnerships.

If you're looking for more in your next move, you'll find it here: more opportunity to lead major projects, more impact through complex project delivery, more perspective through global collaboration, and more purpose supporting the resources and critical minerals projects helping shape the future.
